We have recently revamped our finances and plunged, yet again, into using the cash envelope system! I have heard raves about this and even have some experience using it. But not to the extent we will be now. I was excited to start again and so I made new and improved envelopes. Thanks to my sweet friend Jenni, I was able to hand stamp the catergories on each envelope. Are they not adorable? I love organization and I find these envelopes simple and much cuter with the stamped feature! The envelopes we chose are:
Give
Gas
Laundry
Grocery
Clothing
Celebrations (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.)
Basic 'Blow' money (used for anything from Dunkin' Donuts to the gasket needed for the car)
We are 2 days into our new system and lovin' it! I do think I will go with more stamp color variety next time! Don't you think?
